We are looking for an experienced Frontend React developer to work onsite in central London for an initial (4-8 weeks) greenfield project, to bootstrap an SPA that will talk to existing backend services. This SPA will be used as the basis of our next generation frontend for a complex financial application. The successful candidate will require a strong understanding of SPA application design using React and associated technologies and will be able to create a solid foundation for this application using industry best practices.

Based on the outcome of the initial project there will be the possibility of additional on-going work to continue building out the application. For this, some financial experience may be helpful.


  • Existing UK work visa
  • Strong understanding of React JS and Javascript, including best practices and application architecture
  • Proven commercial experience building complex SPAs, including authentication/authorisation and handling complex data models
  • Skilled in writing clean, maintainable and extensible frontend code
  • Extensive experience with build processes/toolchains and related Javascript tools such as Webpack
  • An understanding of Redux or similar
  • Experienced in HTML5 and CSS3
  • Solid understanding of asynchronous request handling, JSON, webservices/REST APIs
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
  • Strong academic background, ideally in computing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


  • Strong UI/UX skills
  • Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, Gradle
  • Database/SQL experience

Role Overview:

Based in the City of London, we’re looking for someone to drive new business development across sell-side capital markets firms.  As an early-stage hire for the company the role provides significant opportunity to the right candidate. The exact scope of the role depends upon the abilities of the successful candidate and the role will play an important part in the growth and development of Percentile.


This will be a fully hands-on sales role.  You will be primarily responsible for building a sales pipeline, generating leads, meeting potential clients, doing product demos, contribute to marketing activities and provide input to the on-going product development process. It is anticipated that the scope of the role will expand in line with the success of the individual and growth of the company.


  • Self-starter, hands-on.
  • Strong new business sales track record, winning new name clients.
  • Ability to manage the entire sales process from opportunity generation to closure.
  • Ability to thrive in a small company, start-up or similar entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proven experience selling Risk Management software into Capital Markets firms within the Banking & Asset Management segments.
  • Fluent English language skills.
